Almost all the people I know are immortal, so technically, they'd still be alive over there.

Actually, it was less than a year back that I had met with my immortal friends since we first became immortal! I hadn't seen them in almost 300 years.

And of course I had friends, here and there, since I was always travelling the world.

["Friends", aka people who me met and now called friends and probably would never see again anyway.]
